Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation started test installation of Level 4 automated transport service “eve auto”at Nakatsu Factory

We are proud to announce that eve autonomy has commenced a test installation of the automated transport service “eve auto” at the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation Nakatsu Factory.

eve auto is a subscription-based Level 4 automated transport service designed for both indoor and outdoor use within factories. Leveraging the operation management tool provided through the subscription package, it enables remote monitoring of vehicle conditions, contributing to early detection of emergencies and swift responses to them.

At the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Nakatsu Factoy, a three-month test installation will be conducted from July 2023 to verify the unmanned transportation of parts along approximately 780 meters of indoor and outdoor routes. During operation, remote monitoring using the aforementioned operation management tool, including emergency stop and error monitoring, will be performed to facilitate prompt responses by on-site personnel in case of emergencies.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus expects that the full-fledged implementation of eve auto at this plant will not only address labor shortages but also lead to approximately a 20% cost reduction.
