eve auto addresses this challenge by combining the robust traction of EV golf carts with the globally-utilized autonomous driving software, Autoware. This fusion enables us to offer “eve auto”, a safe and efficient unmanned transportation service for outdoor environments. Autonomous Driving EV
Automated guided vehicle that combines high driving performance and safety
Our automated vehicle was developed using Yamaha Motor’s golf cart technology and TIER IV’s Autoware automated driving software.
By combining the driving performance of a golf cart with automatic driving technology used on public roads, the golf cart can transport heavy objects weighing up to 1.5 tons, and can operate on bumps, inclines, in the rain, and at night.

FMS Console
FMS (Fleet Management System) is a system that manages vehicle dispatching and fleet operations.
FMS console is a fleet management application that allows users to register vehicles, manage schedules, view information on vehicles in motion, update software, and check vehicle history and errors. It can also analyze the data of vehicles in daily operation.

eve auto DASH is a software tool that allows users to call up and send out vehicles via smartphone or tablet. This tool is designed to be simple and intuitive so that anyone can use it easily.

We support repair or replacement for malfunctions that occur within the scope of normal use.

Insurance
Auto insurance for peace of mind in case of emergency
Sompo Japan’s insurance policy for automated driving is attached to the policy for safety and peace of mind in the event of an accident while the vehicle is in operation.
Not only does it cover accidents while the automated vehicle is in operation, but it also covers a wide range of accidents, including those that occur during manual operation. Please contact us for details.
Periodic Maintenance
Regular maintenance once per year
Every year from the start of the subscription, we will come to the customer’s location to perform a periodic inspection of the vehicle. We will check tire pressure, system error conditions, etc.
Software Update
Automatic operation software & FMS console updates
Since automated driving technology is constantly evolving, the automated driving software and operation management tool (FMS console) can be remotely updated to ensure that the latest version is always available.
V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) Communications
Linkage with various existing facilities
By using eve auto connect (optional), it is possible to link with equipment already in use in the customer’s environment. It is possible to turn on patrol lights, open/close shutters, operate cargo handling equipment, and link with cooperative robots.

When introducing an unmanned transport system, we carefully support our customers by confirming their environment and requirements, assisting with route studies, creating maps for automated operation, and providing installation testing and training in the use of eve auto.

STEP 1Discussion &
Route design
Discuss the goals of introducing eve auto and the work schedule, etc. Then, create a “route design document” for the route where customer wants to perform automatic conveyance.
STEP 2Map data scanning &
Manual measurement
Acquire data for mapping the driving area while driving the vehicle manually. Measures the driving lanes, stop positions, pedestrians, vehicles, and other areas that require special detection.
STEP 33D map creation &
Simulation
From the acquired data, a point cloud map and a vector map defining traffic rules are created. After creation, the simulator is used to check if automatic operation is possible without any problems.
STEP 4On-site driving test &
Operation lecture
Delivery of the actual vehicle to the site, driving test and final adjustment to suit the site, and handover of the vehicle. Finally, provide the necessary training for the customer, including basic operation and error handling.
